The article presents a reflection on the systematic practice (research?) developed at ECA/USP in partnership with the Oceanographic Institute of USP in the last years focused on the representation and imagination of the seascape in Cananéia (South seashore of the State of Sao Paulo) and suggests a survey on the several studies and/or artistic practices developed in other seashore areas of Brazil with the purpose of producing a future mapping of such researches and its artistic, didactic and sociocultural unfolding.Downloads
