This is an exercise in intertextuality in four Brazilian video art works produced between 1975 and 2002. The methodological approach is based on the description of intertextual and iconographical pathways that can lead the art critic and the public to the audiovisual text. The aesthetic dialogues reveal different intertextual references and plastics elements that from a network of iconographic relations. From the aesthetic analyses, relationships between videos and artworks from different periods are woven in order to tell a brief history of art through intertextuality.Downloads
