The MST and the Theater: the process of creating the play A Farsa da Justiça Burguesa

This research intends to analyze the creation process of the play A farsa da justiça burguesa. This work is the result of the construction of the National March for Agrarian Reform, carried out by the Landless Rural Workers Movement in 2005. The choice of the object comes from the hypothesis that this experience recovers characteristics belonging to political theater and agitation and propaganda theater traditions. Also, we analyze the process of construction of the debate up to the cultural production, in the Landless Rural Workers Movement, and what are its implications for its aesthetic production. Part of the research is based on interviews with intellectuals who contributed by advising the movement. Thus, from the interaction of the social movement with theater artists we could notice the formation dynamics of new organic intellectuals in the Landless Rural Workers Movement.
