The decisions of the Editors and the Editorial Board will not be influenced by considerations of revenue sources. Revista Aspas is committed to ethical principles and is willing to publish corrections, clarifications, and retractions when necessary.
Regarding ethical complaints about a manuscript or published article, the editors will take the necessary measures to investigate any complaints and make any necessary corrections or retractions.
Revista Aspas intends to promote a diverse composition of the Editorial Team in order to provide a plurality of thoughts, epistemologies, and political perspectives within the field of Performing Arts, and to combat racist, sexist, and hegemonic structures in knowledge production spaces.
The journal is committed to seeking actions together with the PPGAC of ECA USP to ensure the inclusion and retention of team members in situations of social vulnerability.
Revista Aspas values adherence to the ethical codes and guidelines of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), and CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - Ministry of Education - Brazil).
In evaluating the intellectual content of manuscripts, the Chief Editorial Team and Review Board must respect the principles of impartiality and transparency. Any discrimination based on race, gender, class, nationality, religious or ideological belief that interferes with the manuscript evaluation process is expressly prohibited.

Policy on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence
In line with the guidelines of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), Revista Aspas does not accept the use of generative Artificial Intelligence tools as authors of submitted manuscripts, since such technologies cannot assume ethical, legal, or academic responsibility for the content produced.
Moreover, the inclusion of excerpts generated by generative Artificial Intelligence in submitted texts is not permitted. Authorship must be entirely human, and it is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the originality, integrity, and reliability of their work.
Revista Aspas reaffirms its commitment to ethics in research and publication and reserves the right to reject or retract articles that violate this policy.
