Observing the general orientations of the Curricular Parameters, the author proposes a research project planned by teachers and directed towards eighth-grade students and towards all high-school students. Based on three films: Encruzilhada, Panteras Negras and O preço do desafio, the author guides the teacher on how to organize the research project aiming at a well articulated methodological work which is able to produce a final result through exposure, seminars, etc. The author also suggests a thematic relationship between the films, which may be the reason for the research: music, black culture, the fight against bias and stereotypes.
