This article aims to present a brief journey of the literature of Brazilian female authorship to reach the literature of contemporary authors who have flirted directly with the feminist agendas, reflecting and being reflected by them. In this paper, we will focus on two narratives of female authorship in which appears one of the most thematically debated issues by contemporary writers: rape. They are: Por cima do mar (2018), by Deborah Dornellas, and O peso do pássaro morto (2017), by Aline Bei.
