O efeito da taxa cambial sobre o produto

Baseada na tradição Keynesiana, a literatura em comércio internacional supõe que desvalorizações cambiais são benéficas para a produção global e o desenvolvimento. Este resultado surge da análise dos efeitos da desvalorização, exclusivamente sobre a demanda agregada. O artigo mostra que quando a oferta agregada é incluída, as conclusões são diametralmente opostas, isto é, desvalorizações reduzem produção.Downloads
