In this article the author extends his previous work on the same topic, where he examined a case study in which wage differentials were analyzed by taking data from a pair of firms - one private and one state enterprise - of approximately the same size and belonging to the same industry. In this paper, the number of pairs of firms were extended to ten, the data updated, fringe benefits included in the analysis and a model was formulated to treat ail the cases together in order to obtain more general conclusions. The analysis confirms that the workers of state enterprises benefit from a positive net differential, not explained by their individual characteristics, or by the industry and size of the firms.
