industrial wagesAbstract
The paper aims to discuss the behavior of industrial
wages lately. We point out that the purchasing power of industrial wages has declined, but its share in direct cost of firms has increased. This result does not confirm the findings of Amadeo and Camargo study. We pay special attention to the behavior of wages during the stabilization plans.
