Abstract

The clinical work with children group leads the psychoanalyst coining across with the referring subjects to the field of the Education. In that text the author interrogates concerning the conception that has been shared at the present tune, about the educational function of the school and still how the children's education has been accomplished in the school space. She makes a historical retaking verifying that child's place and, soon after, the appearance of the modern family and of school, they coincide. The school is, however, a place of social registration. In this perspective, school has a co-extensive function to the one of the parents, in the task of children's education. Starting from a brief analysis, it sites the different places that parents and educators take part educating children, considering desire. She ponders critically about the way schools have been taken its educational function, with consequences we face at daily clinic.
