Abstract

This work aims to analyze the construction of an oral narrative by two children with different structural diagnoses in a therapeutic workshop called Grupo Mix, of the Lugar de Vida Therapeutic Education Center. We assume that oral narratives can serve to the subject as a way of dealing with the lack in/of the Other. For these children diagnosed with autism and neurosis, the meeting on a Mix Workshop enables the emergence of narratives that can promote social ties and some elaboration on language. The analysis indicates that it is necessary to break apart from the prevailing ideology in the pedagogical discourse about the treatment of children with autism, focusing on a subject.
