Abstract

This article has like objective to analyze and understand how the Movement of landless Rural Workers (MST) builds, in digital social networks, a contradiscourse to the narrative of the hegemonic media. To do so, we opted for a case study: the divergence of focus between the MST (through its Twitter profile) and the traditional press on a police operation at the National School Florestan Fernandes, maintained by the Movement. The dialogical analysis of discourse is the theoretical-methodological scope. Thus, the conception of language of the studies of the Bakhtin Circle was adopted; of Abramo (2016 [1988]), Intervozes (2011) and Lima (2006) come from references in social communication and popular communication. De Castells (2013 and 2005) and Martín-Barbero (2005), understandings about the new informational technologies and their impacts on the processes of popular mobilization. The analysis led to the identification of regularities as reframing of other Voices, by the MST, for the construction of a discourse of its own.
