Abstract

This  article  proposes  to discuss how network theories contribute to the challenges faced by alternative and popular media in Latin America. For this reflection, we study the Latin American Association for Radiophonic Education, that was created in 1972, and since then, articulates educational and popular radio stations in the region. As a first essay, the present text presents the initial steps of this research, based on theoretical contributions and literature review relevant to the theme.
