Abstract

This article analyzes the communication procedure of the "Nós, mulheres da periferia" collective, aiming to discuss the effectiveness of virtual space for the outskirts, considering that the internet is used as an integrant vehicle of this group of women. The text brings a brief history of the feminist movement in Brazil using the class and race concept, analyzes the outskirts as determinant in this context and shows how the virtual space can help to strengthen its guidelines.
