Violência e insubordinação militar na São Paulo do século XVIII:manuscritos como testemunho de uma sociedade

Abstract

The present article gives an overview of  the social historical and philologic contexts (from contrast of  two certifications of  a criminal proceeding) of  three documentsof  the18th century, pertaining to colonial documents on the captainship of  São Paulo of  the project “Resgate Barão do Rio Branco”, whose central subject is a case of  military insubordination of  a mulato against his superior, son of  the governor of  the captainship. The
