This issue of Geousp - Space and Time records ideas that took place in the 40 Years of Critical Geography Seminar: its relevance in Human Geography of FFLCH-USP, promoted by the Graduate Program in Human Geography, Department of Geography, Faculty of Philosophy , Literature and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo, on October 15, 2018. The purpose of this Seminar was to discuss and problematize the legacy and power of the Critical Geography movement in the said Department, as well as its importance in the unveiling of the modern world and the scientific relevance of his critical thinking.
