Resilience, as a concept, indicates methods and procedures that can be oriented towards new development routes that mitigate or exceed crises. This article aims to associate this concept with the scenario of socio-ecological and economic risks at different geographical scales, with the purpose of contributing to the formulation of proposals that induce us towards a more equitable and sustainable society, and therefore less susceptible to periods of instability and uncertainties. For this, this analysis, carried out from an extensive bibliographic review, poses new challenges that prioritize the development based on endogenous natural, social and economic potentialities, taking into account principles how diversity, flexibility, adaptive capacity and transformality.
