Resumen

The main urban space in Mozambique are the result of a complex allogeneic process of origin that was introduced in the strange territory reproducing odd form s of spatial organization to local environment. With the national independence, these spaces have been suffering deep modifications and restatements, above all, they have not eliminated segregated character in which these spaces are characterized as long as they are maintained dual. At the same time, with the national independence and as a consequence of a range of con junctures factors, the Mozambican cities got their population raised a lot. It happened without correspondent growth of substructure and urban services. This situation lead the countries' urban spaces to a degradation process making with informal activities, as survival strategy of a significant part of its population. In face of this, the Mozambican cities suffers very fast transformations, that made complicated the management actions. That is why a spontaneous structure dominates where life conditions are deeply degraded
