Interview with Daniela Galdino: literary and photographic aesthetics in dialogue – an epistemological crossroads

Abstract

The epistemological crossroads appears at the heart of the interview with the poet/performer and professor at the State University of Bahia (UNEB) Daniela Galdino, who adds forces to the movements of re-existences to the Brazilian publishing market, creator of obstacles to the publication and circulation of literary works signed by female writers and other dissident identities. In order to combat historical silencing, collaborative works, such as the collection she organized Profundanças - a hybrid anthology – literary and photographic – promote, based on the dialogue between different aesthetics, literary guerrilla warfare, otherwise circumventing the Brazilian publishing market. With regard to the methodology that guided the conduction of the interview, it comprises writing questions and answers and making them available by exchange of messages, via email, in order to guarantee a range of topics to be addressed and a range of references, building interlocutions fruitful, in the right time interval.
