Abstract

The text will examine the means by which cinematographic
elementsare
incorporated in the dramaturgic conception of
“Night” (1969), by Harold Pinter. Emphasis will be given to the
effects of distraction and alienation which are made possible by
cinema in the fictional constitution of the imagination of the
play’s characters, as well as to questions relative to the representation
of sexuality in theater, based on parallels to a specific
type of transmission of this thematic in the field of audiovisuals
