(Re)reading writing: how can cognitive research on reading help in understanding literary creation?

Abstract

This article focuses on the interaction between reading and writing from a cognitive perspective and seeks, through the discussion of some of its main studies, such as those on representations and those on the mental lexicon, to address important aspects of literary creation.
