This paper approaches questions concerning categories such as regional and universal and the exhaustion of the latter as qualifying criterion applied to regional literature works. On the other hand, there are theoretical and methodological contributions developed in the German academic field (Scheichel 1993; Stüben 2002; Grywatsch 2008), where the regional literature finds a favoured space in the discussions, and the criteria for measuring the works quality are built relying on sociological aspects of production and reception into regional and supra-regional contexts.Downloads
