Abstract

The article aims to discuss the configurations and transformations of teaching in elite undergraduate law schools in the State of São Paulo between 2007 and 2018. Therefore, it analyzes the 11 Political-Pedagogical Projects edited in the period by the 6 most reputed
faculties of Law in the State, as well as the 703 mandatory courses created by these documents, and the lattes curricula of its 672 professors. Based on these data, it was possible to draw profiles in relation to the way in which these courses are reproduced and to the cultural capital that they ideally transmit to their students. The work concludes with the crossing of these profiles, which reveals the concrete traces of the dynamics of competition and social division of the work of domination in the dominant pole of the São Paulo legal-academic subfield.
