This article explores the unfolding and complexity of being "local" and "global" anthropologist in an effort to overcome the dichotomous paradigm resulting from historical and political processes that place social actors in delimited and localized spaces. These aspects are explored from the history of my name, combining intersubjective experiences and reflexivity in sexuality research in contexts of Mozambique.Downloads
