Abstract

This article is a previous version of a discussion soon to be explored. It proposes a reflection on the challenges faced by peripheral black women in the academic environment, which daily reproduces a racist, sexist and capitalist structure, making it difficult for black women, especially the poor ones, to access and remain in universities, imposing subjective barriers in the construction of academic life. These intersecting oppressions can make black women be silent and, consequently, become ill or paralyzed in face of the violence suffered in the knowledge production spaces.
