Abstract

This article addresses the historical and cultural practices that involve the cinema in the transatlantic space, mapping its different vectors of mediation: the circulation of films, texts and theories; institutional exchange; the agents involved in this process; and spaces of sociability and consumption. As a case study, we will examine the participation of cinema in universal exhibitions.
