Abstract

The hospitality can be understood as a way of creating and strengthen relationship, presupposing the person´s inclusion in all organized system. This studies, a qualitative character, has as an objective to analyze, through the point of view of the wheelchair users, the meaning of hospitality during the tourism activity. Based on the inductive empiric method, the profundity interview technique was used in order to collect information together to ten wheelchair users. The main results demonstrate that the difficult of this segment in participating on the tourism activity refers to the local inhospitality, referring to the lack of accessibility (architecture and attitude).
