All Inclusive Hotels in Cozumel: approximation towards sustainability as competitive element of the tourist destination

The study of All Inclusive (AI) Hotels in development models of coastal spaces is presented with the purpose of achieving a holistic explanation of the tourism system and projecting its sustainability. It is based on the analysis of the integrated management of destinations that operate this modality, according to the Cozumel case, and the formulation of strategies that contribute to sustainable positioning of tourism as a distinctive competition. As a result the conceptual focuses are discussed, the tourist context is characterized, the formation and development process of this product at destination are recreated, the diagnosis of the AI hotels is carried out as part of the tourist model, and, finally, its strategic projection is formulated.Downloads
