The tourism business has been expanding in the market and contributing to the generation of employment and income, stimulating the economy. With globalization, advances in technology, in addition to the facilities of transportation and communication, tourism enterprise has become significant and has required greater attention in order to promote a service consistent with the contemporary needs. The corporate clients of travel agencies have their own characteristics and requires skilled professionals. This article aims to analyze companies and Fortaleza Metropolitan Region that are clients of travel agencies, through a field survey which identified the key characteristics and trends of the sector in the months of May and June 2010, listing typical aspects of tourism business. The travel market of these clients has contributed to the development of the sector, but lacks agencies working travel management more specialized.Downloads
