Abstract

The book Primeiras experiências com o racismo: crianças negras, práticas parentais e midiatização places the need for constant reflection on diversity and the fight against racism at the center of the debate. Using methodological techniques from the Constructivist Grounded Theory, the authors propose a dialogue between mediatization theories and the reports of parental agents in the face of the first experiences of their children with prejudice, reflecting on intergenerational consequences and their effects on society.
