Abstract

It is the objective of this article, to reveal the presence of the school newspapers in the state of Mato Grosso, in the early XX century. Through the analysis of some numbers of the journals The Small Messenger and The High School, we prove the articulations between literature and journalism, as well of the social fabric of a particular context.
