Portuguese literature of Afrodescendant authorship : three literary voices in the context of Black Europe – Djaimilia Almeida, Yara Monteiro and Telma Tvon

The work consists of presenting three contemporary literary voices, Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida, Yara Monteiro and Telma Tvon, starting from their productions situated in the realm of Portuguese literature of Afrodescendant authorship. The emergence of these authors highlights a set of productions in ipso tempore of a macro context - translated by e Stephen Mall, Daiane Clarck et al as Black Europe – committed to rescuing the legacy and contributions of Afrodescendants in the European space, where their presence has been acknowledged for centuries, however, their contributions to European history have only recently been raised. In light of this, the article aims at showing how the literature by these Black women has made its self-inscription at this juncture.
