Abstract

This article presents a challenge related to the literary education of primary education student teachers and their training as mediators among literary works and the new generations of readers. First, the spanish readers’ profile is presented, according to recent surveys of cis, as well as previous studies of the literary profile of prospective teachers. Then, we present our experience with four groups of students of the grades of infant and primary education of the university of barcelona. The experience focuses on the reader profile of the student teachers and their assessment of literary education activities. Finally, we present four different activities implemented in the four groups of students, which incorporate digital tools in teaching and learning literature.
