The multiplicity of discussions and references in the poetry of Cape Verdean writer Arménio Vieira brings to the reader certain disorientation and anguish as a mark of modern lyricism (FRIEDRICH, 1978). Therefore, the present article is the result of our anguish and desire to decipher his discourse codes, from the reading of the book MITOgrafias (VIEIRA, 2006), in which it is possible to observe disenchantment as a thematic for the construction of some poems.Downloads
