Alice Ruiz's poetics contemplates the figure of contemporary women as discursive axes, as well as including a critical stance on the theme of love. From a postmodern perspective, these themes are enhanced and reframed by a language that communicates an exchange of experiences and perspectives of the everyday world, that is, a set of social and affective practices that, according to Ornellas (2013, p134 ), “Immerses itself in the meshes of culture”. He still affirms that, the post-autonomous reader reads the world through poetry to appreciate and understand the multiplication of discursive territories. Thus, the contemporary subject welcomes the themes listed in Alice Ruiz's poetics from his aesthetic developments: lyric poem, experimental poem, haiku, comics and music. Indeed, our article seeks to analyze the vestiges of the medieval on the theme of courteous love and the elaboration of the figure of the woman in Alice Ruiz's poetry. The perception of these contents can potentialize, in the school environment, debates about cultural, historical and social issues in a literature that testifies to the condition of women. The studies around the Theory of Residuality, by Pontes (2011), the relations between literature and history, by Mignolo (2001) and by Literature authored by women, by Zolin (2009) favor a meaningful reading of the poetry written by Ruiz. Our methodology corresponds to bibliographic and qualitative research, since it seeks to foster the methodological path for the mediation of poetry at school, as well as observing the reception of themes about women and love.
