For this article, we have selected texts from Cape Verdean that represent through their literary expression the gender violence in Cape Verde. With the theoretical support of critical feminist theories, we reveal pictures of this violence against the creole woman from the representation of two texts, one from Dina Salústio and another from Fernando Monteiro.
