Intelectuais e imprensa em momentos de radicalização política: 1964/2015

This paper analyzes the work of journalists and Brazilian’s intellectuals during the Brazilian Military Dictatorship and the political crisis in 2015, as well as the role of the press in these two periods. In 1964, the work press was given under an authoritarian regime repressing any demonstration against the government. Today the press is so important that it is a political actor in the democratic process, by the way, the object of our analysis. For this paper we talked with journalists and intellectuals who took part in the Brazilian press in both periods cited: Alberto Dines, Carlos Heitor Cony, Ferreira Gullar, Frei Betto and Juremir Machado da SilvaDownloads
