This article aims, based on studies on social stigmas and concepts shared by theoretical approaches in discourse analysis, to analyze the forms in which discourses of religious intolerance are presented in the narratives of the episodes of the case known in the 1990s as the "Witches of Guaratuba". Additionally, it intends to identify and highlight the possible effects of meaning regarding the reinforcement or questioning of crystallized social stigmas reproduced by the discourses conveyed in the podcast "Projeto Humanos: O Caso Evandro" (2018-2020). This article presents some findings obtained in a scientific initiation conducted at the School of Communications and Arts of USP, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Rosana de Lima Soares.
