This article analyses the third edition of Art in Córdoba fair, carried out in the city of Córdoba in 1986. This event’s reconstruction entailed working with written, oral and visual sources, forming a hitherto non-existent file of documents. The fair was a noteworthy experience in which many organizers, institutions, audiences and creators coexisted. In spite of the prominence of Visual Arts in all the editions, in 1986 other arts such as music and theater were incorporated. This research was conducted from a transdisciplinary approach of Cultural History and Sociology of Art, in order to analyze positions, relations, capitals, artworks, and relative autonomies that constituted the local artistic field in post-dictatorship years in Argentina.
