Abstract

This study seeks to reflect upon the five installations that compose the “Bloco-experiências in cosmococa: programa in progress”, by Helio Oiticica and Neville d’Almeida, which is in permanent exposition at Inhotim Institute. We also propose a set of reflections upon the relevance and effectiveness of these works, never installed in public during the artist’s life.

    Maria Angélica Melendi é graduada em Letras pela Facultad de Filosofía y Letras – Universidad de Buenos Aires (1967) e em Artes Visuais pela Escola Guignard da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (1985). Doutora em Estudos Literários pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1999). Professora associada à Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e pesquisadora residente do Instituto de Estudos Avanzados Interdisciplinares.
