This interview with Puma Camillê, conducted in August 2023, explores the intersection of body, gender, and sexuality in the context of capoeira, vogue, and the Internet. The conversation reveals the multi-artist's journey and addresses how capoeira and vogue have shaped her identity and perspectives on gender. Divided into four parts, the interview covers Puma's biography, highlighting the importance of the body in constructing her identity; her involvement with capoeira and vogue, and how these practices have shaped her skills and political understanding; we also discuss Puma's relationship with the Internet as a tool for expression and connection, and her contributions to ballroom culture and capoeira through CapoeiraVogue or Capoeira for Everyone. Finally, Puma reflects on the mythical role of Bahia in capoeira and shares her views on the future of the practice. This interview contributes to the debate on gender and corporeality, highlighting how capoeira and vogue, as cultural practices, are territorialized and reverberate in the digital environment.
