In this work it is proposed to verify the consideration of humor as a constitutive feature of Juan Mayorga’s dramatic work. In particular, an analysis is made of some pieces of his short theater based on certain political issues whose approach is one of the most interesting approaches to comedy as a tool for criticism and social denunciation.
