Peruvian literature inside Sebastian Salazar Bondy critical thinking

Sebastian Salazar Bondy (1924-1965) is one of the outstanding writers in the fiftieth generation and his literary production was forged by several literary genres. Among them, we can find out journalism. The following work studies newspaper articles of this well-known essayist in order to realize his critical thinking about Peruvian literature. This paper highlights the role of the art and literature critic according to Salazar Bondy, as well as his judgments about the work of the main writers of our literature. The article focuses, particularly, in his studies about develop of poetry and narrative in the mid twentieth century. It concludes that the reflections of Salazar Bondy establish a balance of the condition of the Peruvian literature and of main tendencies in that period.
