Nineteenth Century Latin American Liberalism, Latin American Unions, Alberto Blest GanaAbstract
In two os Alberto Blest Gan´s twelve chronicles published in the newspaper La voz de Chile in 1862, he vividly comments about Liberalism and the creation os Latin American Unions against European political and economical interventions in the Area. Those are rare opportunities to dig into this polemicist facet of the Chilean Novelist who scarcely wrote elsewhere about his political and ideological positions in a direct way.
