This paper aims to provide a Brazilian Portuguese translation, accompanied by commentaries, of two dialogues: one between the Norse god Njǫrðr and his consort Skaði, and the other between the legendary Danish king Hadingus and his wife Regnilda. The first dialogue comprises two Old Norse Eddic stanzas preserved in Snorri Sturluson’s Edda, while the second is their Latin rendering by the Danish historiographer Saxo Grammaticus, as found in his Gesta Danorum.
