This text is focused on presenting the stages of a cartographic work performed in history research. In the 19th century, Brazil's postal network was able to accelerate epistolary communications, modifying the social experience of time and space. Unipolar cartographic transformations of distances and two-dimensional regressions allowed the construction of a cartographic representation of the phenomenon, helping to understand a geographic dimension of the modern experience of time acceleration.
