This paper analyses the arising of the Hotel Management Courses separated from the curriculum planning of the Tourism Courses and the polemic of naming hotelbusiness or hospitality. This separation becomes part of the historic-ideological dynamic of applied sciences, precisely in the sense that the idea of hospitality, much more than just a semantic discussion, may mean a relevant addition or even a different way of dealing with this subject.Downloads
