Author Biography

  • Danielle Duque Baracho, Universidade de Lisboa. Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa

    Master's student in Modern Literature, Arts, and Cultures at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon, with a degree in Portuguese with a specialization in Modern Languages ​​(English) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra. She is currently participating in the project Narrazioni afrodiscendenti: Francia e Portogallo in dialogueo, coordinated by the University of Bologna. Her areas of greatest interest are Postcolonial Studies, Gender Studies, Portuguese Language Literatures and Comparative Studies, especially in the Afro-Luso-Brazilian context. In her master's thesis, she developed reflections on feminine identities in transit in the works As Telefones (2020), by Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida and Essa dama bate bué! (2018), by Yara Monteiro.
