Call For Papers - ABEI Journal 27.2 Special Issue: Oscar Wilde: 125 Years On

2025-05-06

ABEI Journal invites researchers to contribute to a special issue marking the 125th anniversary of the death of Oscar Wilde (1854-1900). Our aim is to celebrate his legacy by exploring fresh perspectives on his life and work, as well as his influence across diverse cultures and aesthetics. This issue particularly welcomes studies that examine Wilde’s writings in relation to those of other authors across a wide range of artistic and intellectual fields. Ultimately, we hope to showcase how his works, in all their complexity, transcend not only the boundaries of Irish and British literature but also the limits of literature itself.

Guest Editors: Fábio Waki, Eleanor Fitzsimons and Jarlath Killeen

Deadline for submissions: August 30, 2025
