This article reflects on Os Quintais de Porto Alegre, a series of scenic interventions that occupied the courtyards of historical and public buildings of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. Through events that promoted conviviality, the spectators were invited to play a game in which the roles of performer and spectator get merged and confusing. Presenting the creation process and reflecting on the contact with the spectators, these roles are analyzed and discussed showing elements of the contemporary theatrical scene with studies by Lehmann (2007), Albright (2013), Pesavento (2008), among other important authors.Downloads
